The Covid-19 virus has created many job losses, homelessness, and families struggling to not only pay their bills but to feed themselves and their children. In an effort to give back to our communities, AmCom has made financial donations to two local charities:

• The San Antonio Food Bank. Founded in 1980, the San Antonio Food Bank serves one of the largest service areas in Southwest Texas. They serve 58,000 individuals each week and 74,000,000 meals distributed annually.
• The Central Texas Food Bank. This organization works with food donors across the country, financial supporters and volunteers to fill unmet needs in Central Texas. Its partners delivered 39 million meals to our community last year.

As an Austin-based small business, AmCom wants to help those in need of basic necessities such as food. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we want to thank all of the front-line workers that are risking their lives to ensure the basic needs of others are met – hospitals, EMS, police, fire, grocery store workers, food delivery services, package & mail delivery, factory workers, pharmacies, and countless others.
